“Food knows no borders or wars; it is a universal language of love and connection. Let me take you on a journey to Ukraine, right here in the heart of Philadelphia.”
— Iryna, Your Home or Mine

Iryna, the founder and chef behind Your Home or Mine, brings her Ukrainian roots and love of cooking to every dish. After spending years in marketing, Iryna followed her passion and launched her personal chef and pop-up dinner service in 2022. When the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, she realized the importance of sharing her heritage and educating people in the United States about Ukrainian cuisine.

For this special event, Iryna draws inspiration from the Carpathian region of Ukraine, using traditional ingredients with a modern twist. Her dishes not only tell the story of her homeland but also reflect her belief that food has the power to connect people across borders, and nourish connections.
